CV Main Points

Work Experience

• I am a PhD student at EPFL with LCAV
(Prof. Martin Vetterli) working on computational imaging / lensless cameras.

• I was a senior signal processing engineer on the Sonos Voice Experience Team (formerly Snips), and worked on audio signal processing, data augmentation, and keyword spotting .

• I did tech evangelism work for Snips (ThingsCon keynote).

• During my Masters, I was a research assistant at EPFL with LCAV
(Prof. Martin Vetterli) and LTS5 (Prof. J.P. Thiran).

• I have done internships at DSP Concepts and Fraunhofer IDMT.

• I am a co-founder and organizer of LauzHack, Switzerland's
largest student hackathon at EPFL.


Education

• I have a Masters degree from EPFL in Communication Systems with a specialization in signal and image processing.

• During my Masters, I was a research assistant at LCAV under the
supervision of Dr. Robin Scheibler and Prof. Martin Vetterli.

• We built lots of hardware and software for microphone array
processing
, most notably pyroomacoustics.

• I received a Bachelor degree from Jacobs University in Electrical and
Computer Engineering

Computer Skills

• I use Python and Matlab for the majority of my work.

• I have dabbled with C and VHDL for hardware projects on the BeagleBone Black, Arduino, Altera FPGA + Nios Processor.

• I have a soft spot for great documentation and well-written tutorials.


Languages

English is my native language.

• I am proficient in French and Spanish.

• I speak a bit of German and Italian.
